Having gone through ups and downs with my own mental health and journey of growth and improvement, I’m extremely passionate about helping others struggling with the same. I enjoy giving my time and sharing my voice with the causes I support. I am a generally creative person and want to use my skill to aid anyone who needs it, in whatever way I can. I've also been writing something for as long as I can remember and every now and then something worth sharing comes out of it.  Lastly, I absolutely love youth-led projects as I know our generation is capable of greatness.

People only look at mental health to be important when it's in the limelight. It is not normalised yet. I have always tried to support and educate people and myself about it as much as I can. Mental health has been getting step-motherly love always and I think its high time we change that. Our mind being the control centre of the body requires sanity, growth and care.

Being a part of this initiative, I have been able to use my voice and reach to the teenagers suffering depression. Mental health has always been an issue which has been neglected by all of us. It is as important as oxygen to our body. Creating awareness of mental health and helping teenagers with my words will surely be the greatest achievement till now! As in the words of the renowned writer in a complete, lived experience.

Hi I'm Deepti, I'm 21 years old and currently studying Dentistry.
I Have Not Written Any Blogs Before,But I Will Like To Join This Team Because Growing Up I Have Always Came Through Anxiety Issue, That To A Point Of Not Doing Anything And Just sitting Around Doing Nothing. Going through everything from Being alone to having lots of panic attacks i have came to an understanding, that life is very short, Dwelling on the problems and just thinking too much is going to be a major problem. nothing thinking too much of a problem and just going with doing it always helps.

It is righteously said that unless we don’t experience something ourselves we never get the depth of it. I only understood the pain of a mental health breakdown once I experienced it myself and I realised how important it is to get the right help and talk about it more often. We come to a stage sometimes when there’s nothing to look forward to the next day , there’s no reason for living anymore and If I can even help one person in finding that , then I don’t think that something better exists. Anxiety, panic attacks, depression are all more painful than any physical pain and seeking help to get out of is also not easy when it looks like an effort.
