A Will To Live

Working Towards a Brighter Future

A will to live is a student initiative to raise awareness about a very relevant and sensitive topic for our generation, depression. This project will provide a platform to raise awareness regarding mental health disorders through social media.

We believe life is worth living and people who lose sight of that should get the help that they deserve. Through this initiative, we aim to remind the world that it is we who create a society, not the society which creates us!

In achieving this plan and providing a more personal experience to all our members.

Responsibilities to carry our initiative forward are divided between 6 teams, each working towards the same goal, which is supporting our members to the best of our abilities.

Who We Are

Our Roots

A Will To Live is an initiative that was started by a group of three students. The topic of will to live is very close to our hearts, and we truly connect to it on a personal level.

We are just a few simple students looking outside seeing a world where teenagers have a wild ride these days and only hope to see it get any better by our support.

Mental health is an integral part of life and well being, and yet society is profoundly ignorant of its existence and importance. I wanted to bring a change to this stereotype by being a helping aid to all of those suffering from poor mental health and giving them a platform to speak out their heart and rise above their problems so that they can always have a will to live.

When we started with this initiative, we didn't care about how many people stand up with us; we cared more about how many people we can affect. The reason we started this issue is that it's scary that we live in a world where mental health is being treated as a joke and not being taken seriously. Honestly, I believe with a little support and help of yours we could do better.

Depression is a severe topic and something I would genuinely like to eradicate to the best of my abilities. So we thought of this organisation to help people facing such issues through a multitude of ways and spread as much happiness and positivity as well because who doesn't like being happy.

Internal Team

This Organisation was started by a group of 11th graders, who supervise all the six teams of AWTL. This helps us efficiently manage our website and our external team, in order to provide a platform for everyone, to eradicate the stigmas attached to mental disorders and to support our members to the best of our abilities.

External Team

Our external team consists of carefully selected members who are willing to be a part of our initiative and want to use our platform to raise awareness about mental disorders and the impact it can have on our lives. Anyone willing to be a part of our organisation can join us.We are grateful for every entry we receive.
